MedSurg Access Membership gives members a simpler way to access everyday urgent care at MedSurg Urgent Care. Members pay a monthly membership fee and receive $25 visits for covered everyday urgent care needs at our Wyomissing and Gilbertsville locations.

Individual Access
Member visit fee: $25 per visit
Best for: One adult who wants predictable urgent care pricing.
3-month minimum: $237
Includes covered urgent care visits plus common in-office services such as X-rays, EKG, injections, and routine procedures when clinically appropriate.
Couple Access
Member visit fee: $25 per visit per member
Best for: Two household members who want a local urgent care option.
3-month minimum: $417

Family Access
Member visit fee: $25 per visit per member
Best for: Up to 4 household members.
3-month minimum: $687

Individuals without insurance
For people who want a predictable way to access urgent care for everyday health needs, with $25 member visits and included school, sports, or camp physicals for eligible members or family plans.
Couples and families
For households that want a local place to go when someone gets sick or injured. Family plans can be helpful when children need common urgent care visits or school, sports, or camp physicals.
High-deductible insurance patients
Membership may help with predictable urgent care pricing even if a patient has insurance but pays out of pocket because of a high deductible.
Patients with HSA plans should check with their tax advisor or HSA administrator about eligible expenses.
Small employers
Membership can be a practical urgent care benefit for everyday care needs, separate from occupational health or workers’ compensation services.
Compare Self-Pay vs Membership
If you only need urgent care once in a while, self-pay may be enough. If you expect to visit more than once or want lower member visit pricing, membership may be a better option.
Member visits are $25 for covered everyday urgent care needs. School, sports, and camp physicals are included in the membership. Other MedSurg services or products that are not included may qualify for a 10% member discount compared with self-pay prices.
Membership fees are separate from the $25 member visit fee. Some services are included when clinically appropriate as part of a covered urgent care visit. Other MedSurg services or products may cost extra, and members receive a 10% discount compared with self-pay prices when applicable.

May Cost Extra, With Member Discount When Applicable
Some services, products, supplies, outside charges, or non-covered care needs may still cost extra. When a MedSurg service or product is not included in membership, members receive a 10% discount compared with self-pay prices, when applicable.
- Send-out lab work
- Outside laboratory charges
- Vaccines not included in the visit
- Medications or prescriptions for home use
- Durable medical equipment, such as splints, braces, boots, slings, or crutches
- Specialty supplies not included in routine care
- Administrative forms or paperwork not included in the visit
- Work, pre-employment, DOT, insurance, police, bus driver, or pre-op physicals unless included by membership terms or employer arrangement
- Occupational health services
- Workers’ compensation claims
- Travel medicine services
- Weight management services
- Services outside covered everyday urgent care
- Any service not part of a covered membership visit or included membership service
Members receive 10% off eligible MedSurg services or products that are not included. Outside and third-party charges are excluded.
Included services must be clinically appropriate and part of a covered urgent care visit or included membership service. Final treatment decisions are made by the MedSurg provider.
Members receive a 10% discount compared with self-pay prices for eligible MedSurg services or products that are not included in the membership. This discount does not apply to outside lab charges, third-party charges, emergency care, hospital care, specialist care, or services outside MedSurg Urgent Care.
What Is Not Covered?
MedSurg Access Membership is not health insurance and does not cover all medical needs.
The membership does not cover:
- Emergency room care
- Hospital care
- Specialist care
- Surgery
- Advanced imaging such as CT or MRI
- Ambulance services
- Chronic complex disease management requiring specialist care
- Severe or life-threatening conditions
- Ongoing pain management
- Controlled substance management
- Workers’ compensation claims
- Services outside MedSurg Urgent Care
For chest pain, severe shortness of breath, stroke symptoms, severe bleeding, major trauma, loss of consciousness, or any life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the ER.
For Small Employers
A practical urgent care benefit for small teams.
Many small businesses want to support employees but cannot afford a full insurance plan. MedSurg Access Membership gives employees a local place to go for common urgent care needs with predictable member pricing.
